Our 2nd Annual Blingo Gala SOLD OUT! - Raising funds for the underserved and unseen in our community.

SSCM provided free confidential services for over 224 victims of domestic abuse in Frederick County. We conducted over 17 community presentations, educating over 823 individuals on issues concerning domestic violence and its effects.
Through seminars and written materials (in English and Spanish), the Frederick community, was educated on the recognition and signs of domestic abuse and the importance of reporting such.

Our 1st Annual Blingo Gala, where we raised funds for the underserved and unseen in our community

During the 2020 pandemic alone, our team provided more than 3,000 Frederick County residents with essential items including food, diapers, toiletries, backpacks, school supplies and gift cards.
We continued to work closely with local organizations including the Frederick County Child Advocacy Center, Blessings in a Backpack, and Frederick County Department of Social Services to mitigate the devastating effects of the pandemic in our community

We danced the night away to support SSCM’s Critical Needs Partnership with FCPS.

In 2019, SSCM has helped over 2,628 Frederick individuals by providing critical needs assessments, free immigration legal services, Landlord/Tenant interventions in addition to other critical services.
​
SSCM’s PROACTIVE approach will support low-income international students of Frederick County. Help victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking obtain Visa’s so that they can finally be able to leave their abusers. Worked with Valley Elementary School to help international families gear-up for a successful school year!!

SSCM serves all international individuals! Helped individuals obtain work permits so that they can become self-sufficient and not add to the already significant homeless population in Frederick County. SSCM also provided strategies to individuals to overcome language barriers.
