ABOUT
International Community Services Agency
Here at Spanish Speaking Community of Maryland, Inc. , we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all! We do this by empowering low-income families & immigrants from diverse backgrounds by promoting self-sufficiency, greater social change, education and legal rights.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Through our Community Development, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at Spanish Speaking Community of Maryland, Inc., and a source of much success for our Nonprofit Organization. Get in touch with us today and see how you can lend a helping hand with this program.
HEALTHCARE
Healthcare and well-being are critical in promoting self sufficiency. With the collaboration of local healthcare organizations we are able to help meet many of the needs and demands of our low-income community.
HOUSING/ TENANT/ LANDLORD INTERVENTION
Being foreign born often times has its obstacles. Language barriers can often times cause frustration and confusion. Our tenet/landlord intervention techniques have helped hundreds of residents to better understand their leases as well as resolve dangerous living situations due to mold.
EDUCATION & OUTREACH
We see every challenge as an opportunity. These initiatives help us ensure that our community is better prepared to manage the unique situations they find themselves in. We are invested in an innovative approach that empowers our community and delivers the support they need, when they need it.
