About the Event
The Spanish Speaking Community of Maryland, Inc. (SSCM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to removing systemic barriers and creating pathways to safety, stability, and self-sufficiency for immigrant and underserved families throughout Frederick County. Through proactive support services, affordable legal assistance, advocacy, and education, SSCM works to empower individuals and families facing immigration challenges, domestic violence, human trafficking, and other forms of abuse.
We hope you and/or your company or organization will support our mission by sponsoring SSCM’s 5th Annual Blingo Gala, taking place Friday, November 6, 2026, at the Champion Event Center.
Thanks to the generous support of our community and sponsors from last year’s gala, SSCM was able to:
• Provide free and confidential services to more than 497 victims of domestic violence in Frederick County
• Conduct 39+ community presentations reaching over 1,679 individuals with education on domestic violence, warning signs of abuse, prevention, reporting resources, and…
